Open Door proudly presents a FREE online Workshop in Script & Character Analysis, presented by Valarie Andrews!

This Workshop will be four sessions on consecutive Tuesday nights, starting on the 29th of September, 2020.  Each session will be from 7 pm to 9 pm.  Please let us know that you're interested by emailing us at opendoorbozeman@gmail.com.  We will be limiting participation to the first ten respondents, to ensure that all participants are able to learn and interact as much as possible!
Please join us in sharing and enjoying Valarie's knowledge and abilities, as we make our theatre environment better for all!

Valarie Andrews studied acting at the University of Arkansas as well as New York City's TVI Studio.  Her theatre experience over the years has included performances in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, Boeing Boeing, Just Add Water, I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change, The Last Five Years, Into the Woods, A Streetcar Named Desire, Assassins, Parade, A Little Night Music, and Death of a Salesman. Recent roles at The Ellen Theatre include Miss Hannigan in Annie, Judy in White Christmas, and Lola in Damn Yankees. She performed in the ever so clever original plays, Just Add Water and Jimmie and Pete. While Valarie was in New York City she was afforded the opportunity to teach Theatre Techniques at NYC Marymount High School. She continued her teaching career in Montana and was a predominant figure in starting TATE Academy. The Ellen Theatre has been Valarie’s stage home for 8 years and she is proud to continue that relationship while branching to new classrooms and stages.
