​Open Door Theatre began in the spring of 2014 when five friends met to discuss the possibility of forming a new community theatre for the Bozeman area.

​Our chosen name reflects a principle goal: to be a place for anyone interested to participate in producing plays, either as an actor, a crew member, or in governing the group.

​Good News!  We at Open Door Theatre have decided that "Tell Me A Story" can be an ongoing thing!  Until further notice, we will continue to accept and produce stories sent to us from you.  We thank you for the stories we have gotten so far; we will present Your Stories here on the website beginning in May of this year (2021), and will continue to produce and present them as long as it is still fun!

Stories should be able to be read in 5 - 15 minutes, and submitted to our email, opendoorbozeman@gmail.com.
